Ube Halaya or Purple Yam Jam






1 cup steam purple yam
1 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup evaporated milk/water
1 tbsp butter or margarine

combine all ingredients and cook over low heat until it thickens, transfer to a container greased with butter , brush some butter on top of the ube halaya to prevent it from drying up.
