3 cups all purpose flour
1 cup warm water
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1 cup flour for rolling later
1/4 cup oil for pan fry
- combine flour and warm water to make a smooth dough, cover with cling wrap and set aside for 30 mins
- mix the sesame oil, salt and green onion together, set aside.
- divide dough into two, roll each dough into long cylinder.
- cut each piece around 1.5 inch long roll it out then add a tsp of green onion on the center then fold both sides toward the center then roll it out adding more flour as you roll because the oil will spill out from the dough, fold the two ends of the dough again towards the center, continue this process 2-3 times, this will create layers in between. on final fold roll it into flat circle. to prevent it from shrinking you may heat it in a greased pan under low heat for a few seconds then turn to the other surface, this will only cook the surface of the dough to prevent it from shrinking and sticking together when you store it in the ref. if you will eat it at once just pan fry it with 1-2 tbsp of oil under medium heat.
