Cassava Cake




500 grams cassave (grated)
1 can condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1/4 cup sugar
2 whole eggs ,1 egg white
1 egg yolk for toppings
1cup coconut milk
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 tbsp butter to grease the pan


  1. combine 3/4 can condense milk, 2/3 cup coconut milk, 1 can evaporated milk, 2 whole eggs and one egg white, sugar and grated cassava. mix well
  2. pour the batter into a greased pan  (8x10 inches) bake for 30-40 mins 325F or until the top is firm.
  3. for the toppings combine 1/4 condense milk, 1/3 cup coconut milk, 1 egg yolk. mix well.
  4. spread the grated cheese on the top and pour the topping batter gently , broil another 20 mins 325F or until golden brown.
  5. remove from oven and let it cool before slicing.
