Bacon Fettuccine Carbonara

400 grams fettuccine pasta (cook according to package directions)
1 cup whipped cream
2 cups fresh milk or evaporated milk
1/4 cup miracle whip
6 slices/strips of smoked bacon
1 whole garlic minced or finely chopped
salt and pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 4 tbsp water

  1. cut the bacon into small pcs, place it in a heated pan let it cook until starting to brown
  2. add the minced garlic and cook until crispy when all the fats is out, remove the oil and set aside half of the bacon in a plate for garnish
  3.  place the remaining bacon in the pan back to the heat and add the cream, milk, mayonaise, salt and pepper, stir until it boils.
  4. add the cooked pasta into the sauce , stir and add the cornstarch mix to thicken the sauce, let it boil until it is thick and creamy.
  5. place the cooked pasta in a plate and add the crispy garlic bacon on top.
note : this picture was taken right after cooking, but i notice the color becomes more creamy white when it cools abit, because the sauce becomes creamier and clings to the pasta.
