BBQ Chicken Wings

3 lbs of chicken wings
marinate sauce:
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp paprika powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper

basting sauce:
1/2 cup Banana ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp paprika powder
3 tbsp ketchup

or use any bbq sauce

  1. marinate the chicken and the rest of the ingredients overnight.
  2. wash the skewer stick to keep them moist and prevent it from burning during grill/broil.
  3. broil/grill the meat for 10 minutes then start basting with sauce every 5 minutes until it's cooked, will take around 30 minutes.
