Cha Jiang Mien Noodles


A
1/2 cup ground pork
1/4 cup chopped shrimp
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/4 cup chopped chives
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp chinese wine

B
2 tbsp cha jiang sauce or satay sauce
1-2 tbsp kikoman soy sauce
1/2 cup water

C
1-2 cucumber
2 tbsp freshly chopped garlic
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp salt
1-2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp vinegar

dried hand pulled noodles (taiwan brand)


  1. boil the noodles according to package direction, when noodles are soft remove and place it in a bowl of cold water, drain the water and set aside.
  2. peel the skin of the cucumber then remove the seed part and slice it thinly. Mix in garlic, sesame oil, salt, sugar and vinegar set aside ( do not place near raw food, prepare this and the garlic first before doing the raw meat ingredients)
  3. mix all the A ingredients and marinate for at least 30 mins.
  4. in a big pan heat some oil then stir fry all the A ingredients and start adding B (satay , soy sauce and water) let it boil then add the noodles stir well then top it with the cucumber and garlic.
