Adobong Pusit


1 kilo squid
1 large onion sliced
4 slices of ginger
2 tbsp chopped garlic
 1 tomato sliced
2 jalapeno
3-4 tbsp soysauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp cane vinegar /apple cider


  1. Clean and remove all intestine of the squid, cut into small pieces.
  2. Saute ginger, onion and garlic in oil, add the squid continue to stir then add soy sauce, sugar and vinegar let it boil, then lower the heat to medium low, add the tomato and jalapeno. Cover and let it simmer for 5 minutes. It is ready to serve.    
* This dish taste better the next day or after it sits for hours, the sauce will thicken when reheated and squid absorbs more flavor.
